Now that the pollen has finally stopped coating every surface, I’m getting my porch ready to actually enjoy for the next 90 days, anyway. Around here, it’s usually not until the 4th of July week that the porch becomes usable again.
While I was setting things up, I realized just how much I need a greenhouse…or a garden shed…or maybe both. My garden supplies have officially claimed half the porch. Not that I mind writing surrounded by plants. It is kind of my dream setup.
This month, I’m knee-deep in The Harpring Saga and also working on that other manuscript I mentioned back in May (if you know, you know 😉). Newsletter friends got the early scoop on that one. So, here’s to a month of story twists, porch writing sessions, and maybe a little greenhouse dreaming.
If you’ve read this far…help me name a character. She’s a woman in her late 40s. Think: that one aunt no one wants to be around. Cold, critical, maybe a little too nosy for comfort. What would you name her?
Anywho, have a fun, safe and memorable rest of the week and weekend!
